Rogelio Olguin has 14+ years experience in the cg / game industry with four triple A games.   He received the SONY imageworks scholarship while in SVA for his excellence in Lighting and Rendering While at School of Visual Arts.   Rogelio been part of a Gnomon Tutorial as a online download course for Substance Designer Texture Creation, also has contributed in "The Hows and Whys of Level Design - Second Edition" book by: Sjoerd De Jong,  and has works published from UT2004 in the "The art of game worlds" Author: Dave Morris and Leo Hartas.  Rogelio's Most recent Games both released in 2013,  "Tomb Raider" by Crystal Dynamics as a Senior Environment Artist and "The Last of US" at Naughty dog as a Shading/Texture Artist.  Rogelio worked at 4mm Games LLC in NYC on "DefJam Rapstar" and other unreleased games.  Before getting out of SVA he worked at Framestore NYC as a commercial 3D Artist as a Freelancer.  Rogelio studied in the "School of Visual Arts" in NYC coming out with the best short of the year, voted by judges around the NYC CG industry.  "Abyssus" has been presented in several VFX conventions such as "MetroCaf 2009" and "plsaf2009". "Abyssus" was completed in two years time as his thesis that was also equally contributed as dual Directors with Christian Haniszewski.  Before School of Visual arts he worked on "Unreal Tournament 2004" as a contract level designer.  Rogelio has always been part of the gaming community and has been creating many levels, environment, and games since the age of 14.
